Apple Macintosh

Der 1984 vorgestellte Apple Macintosh war das erste Computersystem mit einer grafischer Benutzeroberfläche, das sich an professionelle Anwender richtete und in größeren Stückzahlen hergestellt wurde. Wie das Vorgängermodell Lisa war es als eines der ersten Systeme mit einer Maus ausgestattet. Diese erfolgreiche Modellserie wird bis heute fortgeführt.
